The Building Department issues permits and schedules inspections for all building, plumbing, gas fitting, and wiring projects in the Town of Winchendon. The Building Department also upholds and enforces the Town’s zoning by-laws, oversees custodial services for Town buildings, and is available to meet with citizens, architects, builders, realtors and others interested in building projects. The departmental files contain map and parcel folders for every property in the Town of Winchendon; these files are open to the public.

Hours: Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Building inspections: 24 Hours Notice is required for appointments. 

Plumbing/Gas inspections: Please call to schedule an appointment.
