Used vehicle batteries. Check your municipality's website for information on household hazardous waste collection events and a list of acceptable items.

Bicycles, unicycles, tricycles, pedal-less bikes, and e-bikes.

Includes paperbacks, hardcovers, and textbooks.

Includes large plastic buckets, old trash cans, plastic tricycles, water tables, slides, play houses, sandboxes, small pools, plastic yard furniture, etc.

Button cell batteries (watches, hearing aids, etc.)

New or used CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and floppy disks.

Includes any kind of cell phones and/or small tablets.

Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (mercury-containing bulbs)

T-shirts, sweaters, blouses, pants, skirts, shorts, swimsuits, jackets, ties, scarves, socks, shawls, undergarments, etc, in gently-used or worn/torn/ugly condition.

Computers, laptops, monitors, external hard drives, disk drives, and other computer peripherals; stereos, DVD players, VCRs, fax machines, printers, cords, etc.

Includes treadmills, elliptical machines, rowing machines, weights, etc. in working condition.

Gently used eyeglasses, including prescription or non-prescription.

Hats, belts, suspenders, backpacks, handbags, wallets, costume jewelry, fashion eyeware, etc.

Sneakers, boots, sandals, and cleats in gently-used or worn/torn/ugly condition.

Tables, couches, sofas, bedframes, dressers, chairs, wardrobes, kitchen carts, changing tables, shelving, upholstered items, etc., in reusable condition.

Grills (gas/charcoal) and lawn mowers in any condition.

Durable medical equipment such as crutches, wheelchairs, commodes, walkers, etc.

Dishware, cookware, decor, lighting, small throw rugs, etc.

Refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, dehumidfiers and air conditioners.

Sheets, duvets, comforters, quilts, towels, curtains, table linens, and cloth shower curtains.

All sizes of mattresses are included. Does not include futons, mattress toppers, egg crate toppers, or air mattresses.

Unwanted or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications.

Includes Latex paint ONLY. Oil-based paint and stains should be saved for household hazardous waste collection. Check your municipality's website for information on household hazardous waste collection events and a list of acceptable items.

Includes wooden pallets only.

Includes all types of pillows and stuffed/plush toys. Does NOT include plastic or wooden toys.

Empty 1 lb propane tanks commonly used for camping.

Empty 20 lb propane tanks commonly used for grills.

Expanded polystyrene (or EPS) used for packaging things like large appliances, televisions, computers, large toys, etc. Also includes insulated EPS containers commonly used for shipping medications or preserving food. Does not include meat trays or soft pieces of foam.

Foam or loose-fill peanuts used in packaging.

New or used tennis balls.

Includes plastic or wooden toys and games. Does NOT include plush/stuffed toys.

Any size television in any condition.

Home building materials for reuse.
