About Your Veterans' Agent, Scott J. Gauthier

Scott J. Gauthier is a lifelong resident of the town of Winchendon. He served during the Grenada/Lebanon period in the United States Air Force entering in February 1980 and was discharged early to attend college full time in August 1983. Scott replaced an icon, Charles Grout, after serving the community for over 50 years as the Veterans Agent; unfortunately, passing in September 2003.  

Scott is a past Commander of the Eugene M. Connor, Post 193, the American Legion of Winchendon (1996 – 2002); past State Sergeant of Arms for James Brehio, Dept of Mass American Legion (2005); past assist Sergeant at Arms for Bill Barbour (2010); past District 4 (Worcester County) Commander (2012); current Service Office for Post 193 (2003 – present) and Adjutant (2012 – present). Scott has dedicated many hours of service to not only the town, but also to every event over the past twenty plus years with both Veterans and Memorial Day services for the community.
