2021 Charter & Bylaw Revisions - Final Ballot Approval

Proposed Charter Revisions Approved at the December 11, 2023 Special Town Meeting.  Final Step is a question on Annual Town Election Ballot on May 6, 2024:

• 2021 Proposed Charter Revisions - "Track Changes" mode
• 2021 Proposed Charter Revisions - Clean
• Attorney General Approval - 2021
• Attorney General Approval - 2023
• This document was revised by the Charter Bylaw Committee in 2021. It was approved by the voters at the May 17th, 2021 Annual Town Meeting and approved by the Attorney General's Office on May 24, 2021.  Due to missing a Ballot vote, the Charter amendments were put back before Town Meeting vote on December 11, 2023; the Attorney General approved the amended Charter.

• This document was revised by the Charter Bylaw Committee in 2021. It was approved by the voters at the May 17th, 2021 Annual Town Meeting and has been approved by the Attorney General's Office, with the suggestion that Article 12 “Regulations of Watercraft” obtain the approval of the Director of the Office of Law Enforcement in the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. This step is currently underway as of August, 2021.
