Section 00 11 13ADVERTISEMENT TO BIDMGL c.30 §39M Under $50KThe WINCHENDON HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Propane Tank Replacement at State Aided Development: 16 Ready Drive (667-2) in Winchendon, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by NAULT ARCHITECTS INC.

The Project consists of but not limited to:Removal of Three (3) underground propane tanks and replacement with new underground propane tanks.

The work is estimated to cost $48,000.00.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30§39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILLNOT BE ACCEPTED.  Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to register as an electronic bidder.  All Bids shall be submitted online at biddocs.com and received no later than the date and time specified.

General Bids will be received until 01 August 2025 at 11:00AM EDT and publicly opened online, forthwith.

from Contractors for the Kitchen and Bath Rehab Phase 5 at State Aided Development:

Kitchen and bath renovations at 8 units in an elderly housing development.

The work is estimated to cost $617,000.00.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by

M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

            Below is an Ad for a summer help position here at the Winchendon Housing Authority. If you are interested, please send a resume or fill out an application before the cut-off date. Applications will be available at the WHA office.

Temporary General Laborer Position

        The Winchendon Housing Authority is looking for (1) one temporary employee to work 20-25 hours each week for approximately 6-8 weeks. All applicants must have the ability to work in many different types of working environment and climate. Work involves painting, grounds-keeping and related work in vacant units during the renovation process. Painting consists of both interior and exterior units. Grounds keeping will require the use of several types of power equipment and hand tools. Applicants must be able to perform repetitive lifting of weights more than 75 pounds and repetitive actions consisting of racking lawns, sweeping sidewalks, walking long distance and any other tasks asked to perform. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have an active Massachusetts Drivers License with no restrictions. The hourly pay rate will be between $17 and $19/hour, commensurate with experience and ability. Applications can be acquired from the WHA office. Applications and/or resumes must be sent to Attn. Notice of Public Hearing THE WINCHENDONHOUSINGAUTHORITY invites all tenants and the general public to a review of the Authority's Proposed Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 The Annual Plan is intended to provide insight into the Authority’s operations and plans for the coming fiscal year as they affect the Authority’s state-aided public housing. The Proposed Annual Plan is comprised of the following elements: 1. Proposed Capital Improvement Plan (5-year) 2. Proposed Maintenance and Repair Plan 3. Current Operating Budget 4. Responses to the Performance Management Review (PMR) findings 5. List of housing authority policies 6. List of waivers from governing regulations of the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) 7.
