Current Projects
There are many exciting things happening in downtown Winchendon. The map below depicts many efforts completed, underway or intended to be projects as part of future grant applications or considered as a locally funded project.
Not included in the map is the ongoing exploration of diffent funding sources for the repair of the Whitney Pond Dam, assessment into the efficiency of the current public water & sewer systems to include future expansion should it be deemed necessary, exploration of funding to repair sidewalks for increased mobility & connectivity, the creation of a Sign and Facade program for commercial properties, and the adaptive reuse of multiple vacant buildings.
