Cultural Council

Overview

The Winchendon Cultural Council is part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. It is funded by appropriations from the state legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. These funds are distributed to local cultural councils to distribute to individuals and organizations in their communities. These grants support thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences annually. Yearly, the Winchendon Cultural Council meets in the fall to review and award grants to cultural programs town-wide.
