The Audit Committee solicits, interviews, and recommends to the Board of Selectmen the firm of independent auditors that is to audit and report on the financial statements issued by the Town.
The Board of Assessors is required by Massachusetts law to list and value all real and personal property as of January 1. The Assessors are responsible for meeting the certification requirement of the Department of Revenue.
