Overview

Mission

The Planning Board is responsible for land planning, and reviews and recommends changes to the Zoning Bylaw and Zoning Map. It regulates land development according to the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Winchendon Zoning Bylaw, the Subdivision Rules and Regulations, and the Site Plan Rules and Regulations. The Board makes recommendations on accepting or discontinuing public ways, and grants special permits for certain land uses.
