Dog Licenses & Online Payments

Dog licenses are now available. Dog License Application (PDF)

• Registration Period: January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022
• $20 late fee after March 31st
• A penalty of $50 per dog may be enforced for unlicensed dogs after March 31, 2022.
  (Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Sections 137 to 141)

A Kennel License (5 or more dogs) will require an inspection from the Dog Officer before licenses can be issued.

Ordering Online

You may register your dog license online only if your dog's rabies certificate is up-to-date.

Please make sure the rabies certificate is up to date before ordering your license online.

If the rabies certificate has expired, your payment will be refunded within 30 days. There will be no credits placed on your dog license account.

A valid rabies certificate and proof of spaying/neutering are required.

• Spayed/neutered - $10
• Not spayed/neutered - $20
• Lost tags - There is a $5 replacement fee.
