About the Community Connector
The Community Connector is Winchendon’s municipally operated transit program, offering both on-demand microtransit and the fixed-route Toy Town Trolley. Our mission is to provide affordable, accessible, and reliable transportation for all residents—especially seniors, youth, low-income families, and individuals without personal vehicles.
Whether you need a ride to a doctor’s appointment, job, grocery store, or community event, we’re here to help you get there. With service available Monday through Saturday, the Community Connector supports independence, equity, and quality of life across Winchendon and surrounding areas.
This program is a partnership between the Town of Winchendon, the Winchendon CAC, Montachusett Area Regional Transit Authority (MART), and Via Transportation, with funding from MassDOT and local sources.
