Welcome to the Community Connector—Winchendon's local transportation service designed to get you where you need to go safely, accessibly, and reliably. Whether you're commuting to work, shopping in Rindge, or visiting a doctor in Gardner, we’re here to help.
How to Book a Ride
Use the App: Download the Community Connector Transit app:

Call Dispatch: Speak to a dispatcher or leave a voicemail at (978) 297-3155.
Service Hours:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Toy Town Trolley runs Saturday 9:15 AM – 2:30 PM
Rides must start or end in Winchendon.
Fares
All Community Connector and Toy Town Trolley services are currently free of charge for all riders. No fare collection is required—just book your ride and go.
Payment
No payment is needed at this time. Riders do not need to add a card or pay in person. This fare-free service is made possible by grant funding and local partnerships.
Youth Riders
Children aged 0–11 must ride with a responsible adult and use a car seat if required by law. The adult must provide and install the seat.
Youth aged 12–17 may ride independently on both microtransit and the Toy Town Trolley, but must have a signed parental permission form on file.

Accessibility & Accommodations
Our fleet includes wheelchair-accessible vehicles and drivers trained to assist riders with mobility devices or other needs. Let us know when booking if you require assistance or accommodations.
Rider Expectations
We’re committed to providing a respectful and safe transit experience. Riders must follow our community guidelines, which prohibit harassment, disruptive behavior, or unsafe conduct.
