The Board of Selectmen voted a proclamation in support of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week at their meeting on April 28th.

Board of Selectmen Chairman, Michael Barbaro, on behalf of the Board of Selectmen, read and presented a proclamation to Ann Berube, Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL), in support of CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK.  The mental health of children has been worsening during the pandemic, a critical issue that affects many families and children across Massachusetts.

Town Hall was lit up in green Monday, May 3, 2021 and will remain so through the week to bring awareness in support of Children’s Mental Health Week.

Thank you to Senator Gobi, Representative Zlotnik, Ann Berube and all the folks that attended the ceremony supporting this cause and bringing awareness to PPAL’s mission:

“Providing hope for children with mental health needs and their families through education, advocacy, outreach and support.

PPAL is the leading public voice for families whose children have emotional, behavioral and mental health needs in Massachusetts.
